Attendance

Attendance is a high priority at Holy Name. Our whole school target is 97% for the academic year.  

The school, in line with local schools and government expectations do not authorise holidays during term. If you are taking your child out of school, please complete the Leave of Absence Request.

How do we promote good attendance?

• Our school creates a welcoming and positive atmosphere, where children are challenged to be the best versions of themselves.
• We have an ambitious and inspiring curriculum which provides children with the thirst for knowledge. 
• Good attendance is celebrated, weekly, half termly and termly.
• We communicate regularly with parents regarding attendance.
• We work with our families.
• We work with the local cluster and local authority to overcome barriers to poor attendance.
