Mission, Vision & Ethos
Holy Name is a school where the children are encouraged to develop to be the best version of themselves. Our mission statement embodies the characteristics so that we can empower the children to live out the mission each day through: Loving, Learning, Living, Laugh: Together in Faith.
Loving - Together we live out the virtues and above all, we show our love for one another every day, through our work and play.
Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you.”
Learning - Together we grow in our faith and closer to God every day, learning about our spirituality, with help from our families, staff, friends, priests, governors, and visitors.
Jesus said, “Follow me.”
Living - Together we make the most of our own precious lives, living each day to the full, leading by example.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.”
Laughing - Together we take enjoyment, fun, delight and laughter in what we do.
Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.”
Together in Faith - As one loving community we work together in acceptance of each unique child or adult amongst us, celebrating who we are through faith and closeness to God.
Jesus tells us to, “Live in harmony with one another.”
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
