School Council
Our school councillors were elected in the Autumn Term by their classmates after presenting their ideas to the class.
Currently, our School Council are meeting every couple of weeks. During the meetings they have the opportunity to share their feelings and opinions about things that affect them and the school community.
The children will also work on projects together to help make the school a better place. Their contributions are instrumental to the design of the curriculum, changes in policies and the day-to-day running of the school. They present their ideas to senior leaders, who together with the headteacher ensure the pupils voice is heard.
Congratulations to our 2023 School Council representatives.

ECO- WARRIORS
Eco-Schools is a global programme engaging millions of children across 64 different countries, making it the largest environmental schools programme in the world ... and we are now part of it!
Our school council have also formed our Eco Warriors team and have been working together to:
- form links between school and our communities
- develop their knowledge and skills and improving their well-being.
- learn and action the nine topics – biodiversity, energy, litter, global citizenship, healthy living, school grounds, transport, waste and water.
We carried out an Environmental review around school with the help of some of the staff and from that, we made an action plan for summer term. From doing this and some of our other ventures, we've managed to obtain the BRONZE AWARD!
This is part of a seven-step process on a journey to achieving a Green Flag Award.
